5 Social Media Lessons From Fleetwood Mac “Rumours”


As we all know, marketing has recently undergone some massive shifts in the tactics that businesses are now employing. Some seem to be very positive changes, some not so much. Personally, I am looking forward to the day that I can drive down the street once again and not see teenagers standing on the sidewalk obnoxiously twirling abominably bright and big signs in an effort to get me to visit the local pizza joint or burger chain that is employing them. I consider this to be roadside spam and am patiently waiting for it to go away.

 

On the other hand, and on a more positive note, social media marketing is one of the most exciting trends that businesses both large and small have rushed to get on board with in recent memory. The transparency and interaction with customers that many businesses are now participating in is rather refreshing. Additionally, the creative ways businesses are utilizing social media tools has ushered in an era of marketing that is very exciting in a wide variety of ways. (more…)
